the Law Offices of John C. Farrissey &
Associates, we understand that people
are sometimes apprehensive when meeting

Atty. Farrissey’s law practice has been
located in Somerset since 1981.
Currently, the Law Offices of John C.
Farrissey & Associates are located at
942 County Street (Rte. 138), Somerset,
Massachusetts. The offices are located
in the former Friendly’s restaurant
building. After purchasing the property
in 2002, Atty. Farrissey had the
property beautifully renovated and
updated, inside and out.
All offices are located on the ground
floor, providing easy handicap
accessibility and a comfortable
home-like atmosphere, with plenty of
free, off-street parking.
Our firm consists of three attorneys and
a dedicated support staff. Limiting the
size of the firm enables us to provide
the most personal service possible.
Our Attorneys create Estate Plans that
are not only up-to-date, but will
legally preserve hard-earned assets.
Atty. Farrissey, as a member of the
National Association of Elder Law
Attorneys (NAELA), and Atty. Grochmal
can help protect those hard-earned
assets in the event nursing home care
becomes necessary.
Our firm also represents buyers,
sellers, and lenders in all phases of
the Closing process relating to Sales
and Refinancing of residential and
commercial Real Estate. We are also able
to advise you on any title or other real
estate related concerns you may have.
The firm is always establishing
professional referral relationships with
other attorneys and law firms throughout
the area. Therefore, if there is a legal
issue that our firm cannot accept, we
will provide you with the names of other
attorneys who concentrate in the
particular area of law you are concerned
with.
