Atty. Farrissey’s law practice has been in Somerset since 1981. He is a graduate of Providence College and the New England School of Law in Boston. He is licensed in all Massachusetts Courts, the U.S. Federal Courts in Boston, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has been an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. Atty. Farrissey also served as a Civil Mediator at the Fall River District Court for 5 years. For the past 10 years he has been the Chairman of Fall River Board of Assessors and has been a member of that Board since 1994. Since 2002, Atty. Farrissey has also served as a Director of St. Anne’s Credit Union.

Atty. Jill E. Grochmal is the most recent enhancement to the firm. Prior to joining the firm, Atty. Grochmal was a Bristol County Bar Advocate at the New Bedford Third District Court and the New Bedford Juvenile Court. Atty. Grochmal is also a graduate of Providence College and is a dual degree graduate, earning a Juris Doctorate Degree from Roger Williams University School of Law while also earning a Master’s Degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island at the same time. She is licensed to practice law in all Massachusetts Courts.
