The Law Offices of John C. Farrissey & Associates are located at 942 County Street, Somerset, MA. County Street is also Route 138, so the offices are easily accessible. The offices are located in the former Friendly’s restaurant building. After purchasing the property in 2002, Atty. Farrissey had the entire property beautifully renovated and updated, both inside and out.

All offices are located on the ground floor, providing easy handicap accessibility and a comfortable home-like setting, with plenty of free, off-street parking.

Atty. John C. Farrissey and his associate, Atty. Jill E. Grochmal, as well as their legal assistants Kelly A. Cabral and Christine A. Martin, are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.

These attorneys have extensive experience preparing Wills, Trusts, Health Care Proxies, Powers of Attorneys, Declarations of Homesteads, as well as several other Estate Planning documents. They also have extensive experience dealing with the Administration of Estates and the Probate of Wills. They also help clients with legal issues concerning nursing home care and MassHealth eligibility

Atty. Farrissey is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). He is also a member of the Massachusetts Chapter of NAELA. He works to create Estate Plans that are not only up-to-date, but plans that will legally preserve hard-earned assets.

Atty. Farrissey and Atty. Grochmal do not limit their practice to the preparation of Estate Planning documents, the Administration of Estates, and the Probating of Wills. They also represent people who have suffered personal injuries due to automobile accidents, and they represent people concerning claims for the Wrongful Death of a loved one.

The office has also established professional referral relationships with other lawyers and law firms throughout the area. Therefore, if there is a legal issue that neither Atty. Farrissey nor Atty. Grochmal can personally accept, they will most likely be able to provide the person with the names of other lawyers who concentrate in the area of law that the person is concerned with. If neither Atty. Farrissey nor Atty. Grochmal can personally accept the potential client, there is even another independent lawyer within the building, who maintains a separate practice, who may be able to accept the case.

At the Law Offices of John C. Farrissey and Associates, they understand that people may sometimes be apprehensive when meeting with a lawyer for the first time. That should not be the case at this office. Existing clients will attest that the attorneys and staff at the Law Offices of John C. Farrissey and Associates are not only professional, knowledgeable, and effective; they are also compassionate and friendly.
